Florida Seniors
Against Investment Fraud or FSAIF is an investor education program
designed to inform senior citizens on how to take control of their investments
and protect themselves from becoming victims of securities fraud.
The program is
specifically designed to help seniors spot, stop and avoid
investment fraud schemes and unsuitable high-pressure
solicitations.
The Florida Office
of Financial Regulation and
Seniors vs. Crime, a
special project of the Florida Attorney General, have partnered
together to provide this important program in the State of
Florida.
The FSAIF project
is funded in part by a grant from the
Investor Protection Trust
(IPT). The IPT is a non-profit organization devoted to investor
education. Since 1993 the IPT has worked with the States to provide
the independent, objective investor education needed by all American
to make informed investment decisions.
