Join us
for a free “Investor Education @ your library®”
series where you will learn how to make your money last
through your retirement, preserve your nest egg, and develop
a roadmap for investing wisely.
Register for this free, non-commercial investor education
seminar. Seminars are offered at 15 different public
libraries throughout the state of Florida. A list of dates and
locations are shown below. Registration is required by
calling the participating public libraries.
This new program is sponsored by the
American Library Association (ALA), the
Investor Protection
Trust (IPT), and the
Evelyn Brust Foundation, and supported
by the Florida Office of Financial Regulation.
Investor Education @ your library®
includes a 90 minute non-commercial presentation
followed by break out sessions. The seminar will cover the
basics of bonds, stocks, mutual funds and saving for college
and retirement. A representative from the Evelyn Brust
Foundation will conduct the seminar.
The seminar includes material provided
by the Investor Protection Trust, the Florida Office of
Financial Regulation and the PBS Television series
MoneyTrack.
