Release 1 of the REAL System is scheduled for implementation for March 24, 2008. This release will be available for use by the Mortgage Broker and Mortgage Lending industry subject to regulation under Chapter 494.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE

 

Chapter 494 licensees will be mailed an authorization code in Spring 2008 to access the REAL System. 

Please ensure that all mailing addresses are correct and up-to-date in the Office’s licensing records prior to release dates.

To update your address:

1.  From the Division homepage  http://www.flofr.com/Finance

2.  Select the correct license type and click update address, under Electronic Licensing Services.

NOTE:  If you hold an individual mortgage broker license you will need your social security number and the authorization number on the back of your license.  If you are a mortgage brokerage business or lender your will need your Federal Employer ID number and the authorization number on the back of your business or lender license.

Release 2 of the REAL System is scheduled for implementation in late Fall 2008 and will be available for use by entities subject to regulation under Chapters 516, 520, 537, 559, 560, issuer dealers and other non-FINRA member entities.  All FINRA member firms, branches and agents and all Federal Covered Investment Advisers and State Registered Investment Advisers and their associated branches and agents regulated by Chapter 517, F.S., will continue to file through the CRD/IARD systems.
